Jim Cramer Mad Money Commodity Expert Carley GarnerGold futures have been on the move, is this precious metals rally for real? 

Jim Cramer's "Off the Charts" segment on CNBC's Mad Money used Carley Garner's analysis of gold on the February 17th show!

To find out if gold has a bright future ahead, Cramer turned to Carley Garner, a technician and commodity broker at DeCarley Trading. The precious metal is up 14 percent this year, while the S&P 500 is down 5.7 percent for the same time period. Cramer interpreted this as gold's insurance policy paying off at a time when the global economy has been filled with uncertainty.

 

"I think this could be a terrific story, and if you don't already have some gold exposure, you might want to get ready to build a position," Jim Cramer
